Village Treasure House welcomes quality home furnishings for consignment and donation. Consignors receive 50% of the selling price. Merchandise is placed in our showroom for 90 days. The selling price is discounted 15% every 30 days. Consignors may retrieve their items from the selling floor at any time during the 90-day selling period. After 90 days, items not sold or retrieved by the consignor are considered to be donated. A donation letter for tax purposes will be sent for all donated items.
Home furnishings and small, easily portable furniture can be dropped off during consignment hours:
Wednesday – Saturday
10:00am – 2:00pm
We will ask you to unpack your items with a staff member when you drop them off. Any items not accepted for consignment can be donated to the shop or taken home with you. Items will not be priced at this time, but your input of value is always welcome. We will price your items and place them on the selling floor as soon as possible. You will receive a listing of your items and their selling prices. Items we are unable to consign will be considered a donation to Village Treasure House.
Before you consign with us:
1. Print and complete our Consignment Agreement. (All consignors must complete a new contract as of June 1, 2010.)
2. Review our Merchandise Guidelines.
3. Print and complete our Walk-In Consignment Form.
Our furniture consignment scouts preview all furniture before it is accepted for consignment. You can schedule a furniture preview by calling the Village Treasure House or submitting a request on-line. A furniture scout will contact you to set up a preview appointment. Consignors are responsible for the cost and arrangement of transporting furniture to Village Treasure House. Village Treasure House will arrange and pay for transportation of donated furniture.
